The 15th Culture Day

Khmer New Year, also known as Cambodian New Year or Choul Chnam Thmey (Enter the New Year), is a traditional celebration of the solar new year in Cambodia. It usually falls on April 13th or 14th and is a three-day public holiday in the country. The holiday is also an opportunity to teach and pass on Cambodian traditions and culture. For example, on Moha Songkran, the first day of the Khmer New Year, people clean and decorate their houses and wear new clothes. Culture Day is a venue for our students to express themselves and a source of creative inspiration, where our students in Aii and AIS share their talents and engage in fund-raising activities for charity. Making it a meaningful tradition.
