Food Safety workshop

Aii SR has just hosted a Food Safety Workshop for our Kid Program on February 29, 2024. Hosting this workshop was incredibly beneficial as it equipped our students with essential knowledge about making healthier dietary choices. In this workshop, students not only learned about foods to consume but also those to avoid, helping them make informed decisions about their diets.

One significant aspect of the workshop was educating students about how certain foods can harm them. They learned about the potential risks associated with processed foods, excessive sugar intake, and unhealthy fats. Understanding these risks empowers students to make healthier choices and reduces their susceptibility to diet-related health issues such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

Moreover, students gained insights into the nutritional value of different foods. They learned which foods are rich in essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, protein, and fibre. Understanding the nutritional content of various foods enables students to create balanced meals that support their overall health and well-being.

We express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Nin Sokrangsey for organizing this workshop, which will have a lasting impact on the children’s lives.
